USIC Presents at FISPA Live 2024

USIC Vice President of Government Affairs Nancy Mitchell had the opportunity to present to ISP, CLEC, and WISP leaders at FISPA Live 2024. It was a great discussion of the critical role of utility locating in broadband installation and the need to communicate project plans with utility locators for the purpose of planning staffing resources in alignment with the project scope and excavation schedule. Coordination of large projects is key to preventing damage to existing underground infrastructure, avoiding project delays, and ensuring the safety of excavation crews and the public.
