USIC Technician Recognized by Dallas County Public Works as Utility Special Services Partner of 2023

The Dallas County (Texas) Public Works (DCPW) recognized USIC Technician Raymond Torres as Utility Special Services Partner of 2023 at its annual Utility and Partner Award Program event. 

Raymond, a veteran utility locator with 17 years of service with USIC, was recognized by DCPW with appreciation for having "provided utility location assistance for AT&T, Spectrum, and Oncor, on the Major Capital Improvement Program (MCIP) Medical District Drive project in Commissioner District 4." 

 

"Mr. Raymond Torres has been instrumental in identifying the ownership of unknown utilities lines in an expeditious manner. He has been able to respond within a few hours of notification and has identified several abandoned lines conflicting with this road widening project. His diligent efforts have prevented utility delays and facilitated our contractors' progress on Medical District Drive. Mr. Torres is a faithful Valued Partner in the County's endeavor to Take Utilities to the Next Level and strongly demonstrates a focus on the Trust, Commitment and Shared Vision of Partnering. We look forward to working with Raymond on other projects."
