Retirement of Respected and Loved Member of USIC Family

Congratulations to Robert "Wayne" Southerland, a Supervisor in Marietta, GA, who retired October 30 after 27 years of service in the utility locating industry. Since joining USIC as a Supervisor in 2013, Wayne has had a significant impact on his team and our company. Enduring numerous, serious health issues over the years, he remained a top performer and dedicated leader. In the words of his team, Wayne "always gave 110% to his job, is loved and respected by everyone he comes in contact with, and is downright the best supervisor and person ever. He never forgot what it's like to be a locator; was always there to help when needed; and treated his team not as employees, but as family." Wayne is retiring to Darlington, SC to spend time with his wife Tina and their 13 grandchildren. Your USIC family will miss you and wishes you all the best.
