USIC’s Military Recruiting Program Manager TJ Martin has been recognized as a 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year in Corporate America by Military Friendly® for embodying exceptional dedication to supporting America’s veterans in the civilian workforce.
“It is an honor to be selected as a 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year in Corporate America awardee,” Retired Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Martin stated. “It is truly humbling and inspiring to know that the passion I have for our nation’s veterans and service members and their families does not go unnoticed. After more than 25 years of service in the military, I am incredibly fortunate to be able to continue engaging, mentoring, and promoting the hiring of service members. My role, along with my supportive leadership at USIC, has allowed me to develop veteran-centric initiatives to support the careers and character of our military connected employees.”
CSM Martin has served in the regular Army, as well as T10 and T32 AGR. Past assignments include: Command Sergeant Major- Indiana Army National Guard Recruiting Battalion; Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Division Sergeant Major at National Guard Bureau; Reserve Component Retention Sergeant Major with the Army’s 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO; Senior TRADOC Liaison at Fort Eustis, Gunnery Sergeant and Forward Observer with the 212th FA BDE, Fort Sill, OK. He deployed in 2005 in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM with the 256th BCT and in 2006-2007 with the 142d Fires Brigade.
